Theory Programs

The feature elements included in the crane training school consists of information concerning regulations, inspection, power-line safety, and site dangers involved in crane operation. Individuals training will get information about hardware applications, load charts and rigging. Quizzes and direct feedback during the course will help individuals training solidify their knowledge.

Theory course topics: Introduction to crane certification process; safety fundamentals for crane operators; crane operation knowledge; rigging knowledge; communications knowledge; crane service and maintenance and crane set-up and pre-trip inspections.

Practical Programs

The practical training part of the crane training school emphasizes hands-on learning. This part of the course focuses on the identification and terminology of crane components. Trainees will have the opportunity to perform skills needed for crane signaling, operating and signaling.

The topics covered in the practical part includes: Learn crane terminology; identify crane components and functions; identify wire ropes and rigging; utilize remote control; pre-use inspection on crane; identify regulations and documents for rigging and wire rope; perform rigging techniques; use hand signals and radio; and carry out correct lowering and lifting of loads.
